What can I expect from my session?
Fun! I want your session to be laid back and fun. If it’s a session for your kiddo(s) then please know there are no rules! I like to get silly and crazy with the kids. I tend to instigate a lot, so please know that in advance. The more relaxed you and I are the more relaxed they will be. The less they hear no, and THINK they are getting away with stuff, the happier and natural they tend to be. They are free to wonder, and explore, and play with just about anything!
How long are your sessions?
Sessions usually run about 45 min. to an hour, depending upon what type it is. If there are kiddo’s involved they dictate how long we shoot. For newborn sessions they can range from 2-3 hours. (see newborn faq’s page)
How does it work?
We can do a consultation before your session to establish what you are looking for and if we are a good fit. Not all personalities match. If you like my work, and are ok with a little goofy and crazy, then we should be good to go. From there we will book your session.
Do you have a studio?
Not at the moment. It’s currently packed away until we have more space again.
How many outfits should I bring?
You are welcome to bring as many outfits as you like. We can pick and choose what will work best. You should bring whatever works best for your personality. If it’s a family session, coordinating is good, but matching is not necessary. I love to see the individual personalities shine in family portraits, right down to the clothes! If you have a kid into graphic tee’s, then by all means have him/her wear that!! Ultimately it’s your call what you wear.
How much are your sessions?
Sessions are $150 and include shoot and edit time, with no minimum orders. I’m currently offering online proofing. Print prices start at $25, and digital packages start at $299. Be sure to inquire about the current deals!
How much should I plan to spend?
I don’t have any minimum orders ever, and am no pressure. I want you to only order what you love and will cherish! Most of my clients budget around $500. $300-700 is the average range. A la carte prices start at $25 and go to the high $300’s. Digital packages start at $299.
